When I decided to host a St. Patrick's Day party, I didn't want to just decorate my place in green and then serve beer. I wanted to still decorate my place, but do the refreshments and drinks right by serving some actual Irish stuff besides just green beer.

I'm no expert on Irish cuisine though, so I spent a little time looking up what I could serve within reason. While I was doing that I came across some info aboundTEXASELECTRICITYPROVIDERS and after I looked through it a little bit, I decided to sign up for a new energy provider.

I did find some really good ideas for refreshments and drinks. I'm going to be serving Guinness beer,! along with drinks made from Jameson Irish whiskey and Bailey's Irish cream. I thought about doing green beer too, but I thought that would be too cheesy. I'm also going to make little corned beef finger sandwiches. I think theyÕll be really good. But then of course weÕll be serving some green cupcakes too, just because I use really any excuse to make and eat some cupcakes.

I finally caught the flu that has been going around work and have been out of commission for several days now. Luckily this gave me ample time to catch up on all the TV shows that I have been neglecting lately. I started with day time soap operas but quickly grew bored of those. Luckily I have direct star tv so I have so many channels to choose from and eventually came across a What Not To Wear marathon. This was a total jackpot moment for me because I love this show! Suddenly a sick day was not looking so bad.

There are so many reasons I love this show that I do not know if I can even name them but I can try. First off I love the hosts. I think Stacy and Clinton are not only hilarious but they play off each other so well. They have a chemistry that is hard to fake and they it does not help that they are always dressed impeccably. I do not really care about men's clothes but even I know that Clinton looks good and Stacy's outfits are to die for. I also love that they always include a haircut, color and makeup application. Without all the added bonuses the final result just would not be as dramatic. Everyone on this show always comes out looking so great.

Holy Smoke

Holy Smoke! It's been over a year since I have updated this blog but let me say that I have been super busy with life. In the past year I have grown up and grown in many things like I have become more independent and I have officially been through a divorce. I can say that it's nothing to be proud of but I am so happy that I am single. yes I might be a single mom but it feels good to not be under any man right now and their controlling ways. I am free to do what I please when I please. :) I never knew that I would be able to have this much fun but I do and I'm very blessed that I have a family and a daughter who look up to me and who I can go to for support when needed.

Another thing that I have been into is I've gone back to school and while its not easy it's definitely worth it. I know that I will be able to say that in two years I will have my Associates Degree in Medical Office Administration. :) yes! Something to be very proud of and something to show my child that it can be done. No matter what is happening in your life.

Now onto the other subject of men, I have met a few but it never felt right to be with them. I still have a life but sometimes I wish that I did have a man who was in my life right now to help me through some things. But that's a different story right now and probably TMI!!! Anyways, I hope that you all have a great day and have fun!

Once In A Blue Moon Book

I was very lucky to receive an advance copy of "Once In A Blue Moon" by Eileen Goudge who is the author of "The Diary" and "Domestic Affairs". This book is an awesome book to read. I couldn't put it down once I picked it up. The book is about two sisters who have had a tough life as it is because one of the girls is left to raise her younger sister. Something that honestly you don't want to have the chance to do since she herself was just a child too. The girls were adopted and have grown up and needless to say they are reunited with each other after 30 years of being seperated. The girls are very different from each other and they then embark on a little journey through time and life. So sit back and enjoy the ride with reading this very emotional yet invigorating book. I really enjoyed reading this book and I am going to go to the local library and read more of Eileen's books that she has written. I really like her writing style for sure! Thank you to One2One Network for allowing me to review this advance copy of the book.

Rock of Ages CD Review

A couple weeks ago I received a CD in the mail and had to listen to it right away. I love getting new cds to review I guess because I love music, singing and dancing to it. Well the cd that I got to review was called Rock of Ages. It's a new broadway show that is showing up in New York City that I'd love to go see. I love broadway shows I admit but this one is awesome. It has a lot of the good 80's songs that I love listening to. Like one of the songs is We're Not going to take it by Twisted Sister. The only thing its not sung by the original artist and the songs are well done. I have to say that thanks to my ex I actually enjoy listening to 80's hairbands (but don't tell him that. LOL) I highly suggest this cd and even to go see the show. If the cd is this good I can only imagine how good the show is. Here is what songs are on the CD:

Yanni Voices Album Review

Well I was recently sent a copy of the Yanni Voice Album to review. When I first received the album I went ahead and popped it into the CD player of my computer. I was a little surprised that at first my reaction was good and then when it started getting further into the CD I really didn’t care for some of the songs on there. They were either way too slow or they put me to sleep. I do like the cd but it’s not my favorite. I know that my favorite singers on this album happen to be Leslie Mills and Ender Thomas. Along with the CD came a bonus DVD. I played that and actually enjoyed it. It turned out to be much better than I thought it would be. Plus it did show Yanni who is a great man in all. I like his songs and enjoy listening to them when I am trying to go to sleep. They are peaceful sounding which in all I sometimes need to settle down before going to sleep. Overall the Yanni Voices CD is not so bad if you like classical, relaxing music, but I would not suggest listening to this in the car, at least for me that is.

Life

I can't believe how much my life has changed in the past year. I went from really not knowing who I was to knowing and believing in myself. It's kind of crazy but I am happy where I am right now except for a few things. Today I applied for a part time job and am kind of praying that I will get it. Now onto find a good tanning salon so that I can tan this year. I have some extra money from my birthday that I'd like to use that on tanning.

Yanni Voices

Some of you may already know but I love to listen to classical and relaxing music every now and then. It helps me unwind at the end of a really stressful day. Well thanks to One2One Network I was lucky enough to find out about this great new music cd coming out called Yanni Voices. It’s 4 amazing voices who can definitely sing to Yanni’s music. Yanni has been around for years and I have always liked his music but now I like it even more because with these four singers Leslie Mills, Chloe, Nathan Pacheco and Ender Thomas. They have brought together a new sound to Yanni’s music and have even helped out with the new music cd which is to be released on March 24th. I know that I am definitely going to get the cd for sure. Some of the songs you are able to listen to online and they have a great beat to them and honestly I think I have found my new cd to listen to at night before bedtime and even put in the car on those stressful days that I’m ready to throw one of Olivia’s toys out the window. I know we all must have one of those days and have almost thrown something out the window but instead took it away for 2 months instead. Hahaha. And honestly if you like listening to Josh Groban or Charlotte Church or yes even Yanni then you should check these four singers out on PBS on March 2nd and even see them on tour starting April 10th. Another thing that you can check out before the special on PBS is a cool video. I will be watching the special for sure on March 2nd and I think that you should too. Check them out right now online. You might be surprised that you like them too. I’m listening online as we speak and it’s very relaxing for sure.

So I just read online that they are planning to do another Sex & The City Movie. Oh boy! I so can't wait!!! I really love the first one and now they are planning on doing another one. Sweet! Definitely going to have to go see that one too. Now lets just sit back and wait and see what happens. :) It might be a year or so before it comes out but it's so worth the wait!

Food Allergies Again

So yesterday I finally did it. I made myself an appointment with the local allergist and immunologist. I'm going to talk to him about getting tested for all my allergies again and also for all of my food allergies. I'm hoping that once I get my testing done I will fully know what I can and can't have. I already know I can't have sausage and kiwi fruit. What else is next to where I can't eat? It's going to be a blah day for me and I know I'm going to have tons of little dots all over my back but honestly I'm so ready for it!!! i'm ready to know! Who knows maybe my immune disorder is back and wrecking havoc on me. You never know right?

I'm Hooked

I'm so hooked on the TV show, The Biggest Loser! It was a great first show and honestly it made me think about the way that I live my life. Now I might not be as big as some of the people on that show but I some days feel like it. So this morning I got on the scale and was down 1 lb. Yeah! I gained a few this past week because it was the dreaded monthly time but now that water weight is leaving and I'm getting better. Plus I'm not as hungry as I was last week. :) So here is to a new me and a person who is getting healthy for myself and my daughter!

Neglected

Ok so this blog has been so neglected lately but life was super busy during the holidays. But now that it has slowed down I am thinking that I'm going to make this blog more into a weight loss blog. I have made a goal of losing 40lbs in 2009 and I know that it's something that is beyond acheivable for me. I had set a goal of losing at least 20 lbs in 2008 and guess what? I actually met and went beyond my goal. I lost a total of 30 lbs in 2008!!! Yes. So this is where I will try my best to write down my feelings and thoughts for the day of my weight loss routine...and yes even if I do cheat at least I'm not overeating like I used to. :) So I hope that you all will stay with me this year because the best has yet to come!

New Jeans!

This evening I went to Belk to find a pair of jeans and to try on a smaller size. I was doing a little happy dance when I picked up a pair that was 1 size smaller than I have been wearing. All I could say was "OMG! I fit in these things". I'm sure the lady next to me was thinking OK we get it you fit in them. But to me it was a victory because I haven't been able to wear this size in over 5 years. Yes the last time I was in a size 16W was when I was 22 years old. Holy Cow. I lost enough weight that I am now able to fit into a size that I never thought I would get into again. So here's to losing more weight and continuing to drop sizes too. So here's to getting healthy. I have to say that this year has been a long journey for me because last year around this time I was wearing a size 20/22w. So for me to be a size 16w it's definitely victory!

Stupid Food Allergies!

I swear...I really hate my immune system and these stupid food allergies I have. Today I went to Wendy's for lunch and ate a Chicken to go wrap that only had, chicken, lettuce, cheese and ranch dressing on it. Sure enough I started to have a swelling attack! The food allergies are back again. I really need to go get retested for a lot of things and will have to soon...need to make that appointment as soon as possible. :) But for now I have to deal with these allergies once again.

My Interview

I feel like my interview went well today. It was a little short but she is interviewing all day today and I should hear something by Tuesday if I get to move forward. I wish I was the only one interviewing but I am not. I am not going to get my hopes up though because if this isn't the job then I know something will come around for me.

Job interview today

Today I have a job interview with a local medical clinic. The lady seemed very confident that this was the job for me and honestly I know it is. I will pray that this will be my last job interview before I find something. This company is really good to work with and will be there for a long time. I have several friends who work for them and they love it and have moved up very quickly. So please pray for me that I will get this job. I really need it!

Recently I received a copy of IL Divo's latest CD, The Promise from One2One Network to review. I have to say that the cd is awesome and has some amazing songs. Black Friday is Coming Soon!

It's hard to believe that in just a month Thanksgiving will be here and that means that people will be getting ready to go Christmas shopping on the day after Thanksgiving. Black Friday that is. I know that most stores do the most business on that day because of all the great deals that they have and also because a lot of people hold off on shopping for the holidays until that day. As for me I have actually gotten a head start on the presents for Olivia because she is the number one person in my life that I need to shop for. I've bought several thing already but there are still other things that I would love to get her. I'm actually going to be looking at a Best Buy deals this year to see if I can get any movies that she'd like for a good price and also a Wii game or two that she wants. She is really asking for the Wall-E game and also for driving game which means Mario Kart. I'm also interested in looking at the bfads as well and checking out what other awesome deals we can come up with. I know that this year I'll have to save but I have so little people to buy for that it's not going to be hard at all. I have to say that I guess saving up every little penny has helped so far and I will continue to be a penny pincher until Black Friday! I love how this site has all of the deals that Black Friday will offer and also that it will send you email alerts too. How awesome is that. Work

I'm still working with my dad and yesterday I had my fill. I was having email issues and not able to get signed onto my email at all. I could send email but not receive emails. It was very frustrating but it seems that I'm back on the swing of things now. i felt lost without my email and now that I'm back I have to actually work. I'm getting ready to email a gentlemen now about his resume. Will update more later:)

My Favorite Bible Story

Last night I was reading my Bible and came across one of my favorite stories. It's the story about David and Goliath. I think I love it because it was little ole David against a huge giant and David took that Giant down by a sling and a stone. I actually use this story day to day because think of all the things that happen in our lives every day. We take for granted what we have but when something big comes along we look back and turn around and leave. Well not for me. Take me losing weight. The weight is the giant for me and I'm afraid that I will never lose it but with the help of the story, I can be just like David. I can be the one to become strong and beat that weight down. I can lose the weight and be the winner like David was. I can take down the weight!! But getting back to the bible story do you have a story that you can relate to every day? Well I was searching online today for some more good Bible Stories and came across a wonderful site that you can Find out more about stories online. Whew I'm still sore

I'm still sore. Tonight I'm working out to Yoga X and I have a feeling that I'll be super tired after that. I haven't been the one who normally does Yoga but I thought with P90X it will work out fine for me. Last night I couldn't get the DVD to play in the downstairs DVD player so I had to do another workout which was Rockin' Body. I had a good time for the whole 45 minutes and Olivia even joined in on some of the workout. It was cute. So today I finally had to take some tylenol to get me through the day. LOL.

Linda Eder's Latest CD

Today I received in the mail a copy of Linda Eder's latest CD "The Other Side of Me." I immediately popped her cd into my cd player on my computer and started to listen to it. I know exactly who Linda Eder is because she had one of the lead roles in the Broadway Musical Jekyll and Hyde (which happens to be one of my favorite musicals on Broadway.) I remember when our high school marching band did the show Jekyll and Hyde in 1996 and I purchased the Double CD to help me learn the music that I had to play. Not only did I learn the music but I fell in love with one of the main singers on the disc. I never realized though until just a few minutes ago that it was Linda Eder that was singing the songs I loved. She has a very unique voice that sounds just a little bit like Judy Garland (who happened to be one of Linda's favorite singers.) Linda's latest album is very unique and it has catchy songs too. One of my favorite songs off this cd is Pieces which is speaking of someone picking up the pieces. It's how I feels some days and so I can really relate. Her other songs on the cd are amazing as well. I feel like Linda's CD is going to be a hit with those who love musicals, loves Judy Garland and who wants to listen to a very amazing voice.

Purchasing A Condo?

I love to watch that show House Hunters and House Hunters International. It's one of my favorite shows that used to drive Terry crazy because he just couldn't understand the show like I can. I like to watch others go internationally especially if they are selling their home in the US and looking for a smaller home outside of the US. A few weeks ago I was watching it and came across this newly married couple who decided that the United States was not where they wanted to raise a family so they decided that instead of looking for a home in the states they decided to look for a home in Panama. I think that was a really good idea because there are a lot of nice condo's in that area. Especially if you are looking for a quality home for a good price like the Panamanian Condo Hotel. You can actually live in a Condo out of a hotel. How cool is that? Actually that would be a perfect thing for those of you who would like to stay in the United States but would like to have a Vacation home outside of the US. I would love to go on a vacation outside of the US and live in a Condo for a week or more. That would feel like a real vacation and it would make it feel exotic in my eyes (but not in the dirty way). I would feel like I was on a desert island away from life but you would actually have everything right there at your fingertips. :) But if you are one of the people who are looking for a Condo that maybe you could rent out to others then why not Register for an eBrochure Here. Up Early

This morning I was up super early the first time was at 3am due to my stomach hurting. Then I was up again at 5 and finally 6 and have been up since. My stomach has been killing me for the past couple of days and I think I've got some kind of stomach bug. The only other thing that is hurting is my chest, almost Asthma related. If I don't start to feel better than I will go to the doctor but it will have to wait for right now. I think this morning my stomach was hurting due to my blood sugar dropping below 70 and so I've been drinking OJ to try and bring it back up. That's normally what happens when I have the sharp pain in my torso.

Oh well on the other note, I had Olivia dressed and had her teeth and hair done by the time mom was ready to go. It was super nice too! I'm getting excited about starting up with a new fitness program this weekend too!

I've once again changed the look of my blog, I'm really digging this one and so it looks like I might keep this one for a while now. :) This one looks so much cleaner too compared to the other one which was jumbled up. I'm glad that I've found this one because it's perfect of how I feel and want the clean look. :)

Police Gear

I'm sure since Christmas is coming up soon that Terry could use some new police gear. He's always needing new tactical pants and shoes/boots and other things. I was doing some searching online and figured that maybe this year I could get him something useful like a new Glaco Holster for his gun at work. Oh how he'd be so happy that I had gotten this for him. I still need to purchase a new gun for him that I made him sell but now I feel bad about it. So it will be alright. But it's the thought that counts right and not exactly what he is expecting but hey I'm just glad that we're still friends!

Tutu's

I've recently started making tutu's. If you'd like one for your daughter, niece or someone you know who would like one please let me know. Also if you'd send me the measurments of the childs waist so that I can have the tutu custom made for them. Attached is a picture of one that I made for my daughter. I'm so loving this weather!!! I feel like it's finally Fall...Fall is here!!! It's a little windy today but that's ok with me. I like it this way. :) I feel bad because I didn't send a coat or a light jacket with Olivia this morning and I'm praying she didn't get too chilly while at school. Plus I'm hoping that Olivia had a much better day at school today and didn't get into much trouble. I don't know what has gotten into her lately but all I want to do is cry. It's like she has turned into a troubled kid and so I think could she finally be angry about Terry and I splitting? I don't know but I guess I'll find out now won't I?

I was a Soccer Mom!

Last year and this past Spring I was a Soccer Mom. I never wanted to be considered one but honestly it was fun while it lasted. Olivia played on the Bitty Kicks Team with the YMCA and had a good time but it just wasn't for her. I knew of several moms who got very agressive to their children who were playing the game but to me it was like they were being too aggressive to me. I mean why do you want to push your child into doing something that they just don't want to do or if they just want to play for fun and not as a hard core sport. I was not only a soccer mom but I was also a soccer coach. I had a good time but when Olivia decided that she just didn't want to play again this year I was OK with it. I'm not going to force her to do anything that she doesn't want to do. But when we were doing the snacks I liked to bring fresh fruit instead of junk food because it's healthier for them and also it will give them energy as well. There is actually a new family out there called The Sproutwells who have become a soccer family. It's a really cute cartoon family. Plus if you go to freshfunds to start accumulating points towards prizes or charity donations.

Business is picking Up

So it seems like my business is picking up at work and also with my photography business. I'm taking my good friends engagement pictures we're going to go to the beach possibly on October 4th. Plus I might be lucky enough to be the photographer of her wedding in Feb. I'm super excited about this. I don't think my prices are too much either. :) Well I'm just sitting here getting ready to go upstairs and clean and then also go outside to the van and place my props upstairs. I am planning on taking my camera with me as well up to Maryland. I can't wait and my sister and I are meeting one of my friends that I haven't seen since 9th grade but talk to very often for coffee in Columbia. :)

I just got finished with working out to Turbo Jam. I have to say that I love that program. Tomorrow I'm going to be doing Ab Jam and can't wait! I'm currently at work right now trying to go through about 77 messages left on our voicemail. It's crazy because I think we should have gone through them before it got up this far. I was looking online today and saw that the NNSH Marching Knights Roundtable is in about a month. I can't wait until this because this is the day I plan on taking Olivia to watch the Marching Bands. She loves the drums and so this might work out best for her. I can't wait! Plus it's the day of the Pumpkin Festival too so we will have to go watch the parade as well and might get us something quick to eat at Bojangles and then we'll go on home for a nap and then go from there to the Roundtable. Gosh. I feel like I'm in high school again. Oh how do I miss those days. :)

A new Photoshoot

Today I did another shoot with my daughter. I'm really like photographing her but I think that when I take more pictures of others kids it will make it more real that my business is starting up. I'm going to see if a girl from Church will allow me to take some pictures of her son tonight to get her some pictures and to allow her to come on over. We shall see on that end. I do have a photoshoot scheduled for September 9th so I can't wait for that. :) We are going to have so much fun! Here are a select few I took today.

I'm completely out of money. i hate to say it but I am. I feel like the harder I try at work to make a placement the more out of luck I am. I would love to find a job in my field that I went to school with but with the economy noone is willing to take that chance. It sucks too! I just want to be able to provide for my daughter but I'm getting depressed because the more I try the less I get. I'm just wanting to have a christmas for my daughter but it looks like I'm not going to be able to provide from her this year. :( Boo. I am really hope that I can get a call from a company that I put my resume in with. Actually I'm hoping I get a few. I'm also hoping to take some pictures for my friend and her daughter and she was going to pay me for it. IT might be little money but right now I'm having to sell my wii fit on ebay and also something else on there that I'm not happy about parting with but I will have to to get money for my daughter and I.

Idina Menzel's CD Review

Yesterday I received in the mail a copy of Idina Menzel's latest Album, "I Stand" to review. Wow! This young lady has an Amazing Voice. As soon as I opened the cd up I went ahead and popped it into my CD player on my computer and started listening to it. I have to say that Idina has an amazing and powerful voice. Her songs are all good and I found that I have been listening to her CD all the time. I have listened to it since I got it. It's very relaxing and to keep on while I'm working. I enjoy to listen to her and her songs have a meaning to them as well. I have fallen in love with a few of the songs like I Stand, Brave, Forever, Where Do I Begin, and Better To Have Loved. With the CD the song lyrics have been provided to you as well. I'm starting learning the words now so that I can sing along with the CD. All the songs are very catchy and you will find that with the words some of them you can relate to. I know that some of the songs I definitely can relate to with what is going on with my life. My sister would love this CD as well. I'm going to have to share it with her. As I'm writing this review I am listening to Idina. All in all, Idina is an Amazing Singer! Definitely worth seeing in concert!!! I'll have to check out her tour dates to see if she's coming anywhere near where I live.

Recently I have become a single mom and my daughter is getting ready to start school. I'm struggling as it is with trying to purchase things that my daughter needs and I'm not getting a lot of help. My job has really been down in the dumps due to the economy meaning that the income is no longer there. I've recently finished up school but it's been hard to get a job in my field because so many people don't understand that I AM a single mom and I have to be able to have a job that can be flexible since Olivia lives with me and she does still get sick pretty often. The laptop would be great for me to use for my daughter and her homework. I feel like I will never be able to afford one since my income is not there and I'm really struggling all together. Hence I'm having to ask my parents to help me on my bills and I've recently lost a car because of my situation. Please let me win this laptop. This weekend happens to be Tax Free Weekend and so Olivia and I are going to go shopping for her school clothes. Yesterday we got word that Olivia will NOT be going to Fairview Child Care Center and she has been accepted to Cooper's Elementary School which is where my mom works. Yeah! So that means no uniforms for her. I can't wait to go purchase her some new clothes and she is super excited too about being at Nanie's School. So I'm also thinking about taking Olivia out to City Lake and taking a few pictures of her and editing them up and having them printed out. I mean it's my camera and I hope to start up this photography business soon. So maybe I'll make a good business out of it. So if I do start making a name for myself then I will purchase a new camera and also a new laptop. :) Yeah! I'm so excited about this one too because photography has always been my passion and forte in seeing the beauty in things. Ok gotta go back to work. Have a wonderful day!

I just wanted to post saying that it's finally Friday! I'm so happy because it's the end of a long and busy week. Olivia had a great time in Dance Camp and has already told me that she wants to do ballet school which tickles me to death because she is following in my footsteps. Also the Owner and Teacher reminds me so much of my old dance teacher, Ms. Reese. I loved that dance studio and her character too. Man I remember the days that in the summer and in the spring and fall after class was over and we were waiting for our parents we would walk down to the italian store a few doors from the studio and get italian ice. Mmm...so tasty too. I want my child to have the same experience and also the same success that I had with dance. I know she will do great at it. ;)

Since the summer has come I've been very busy. Or at least trying to stay busy. I want to feel like I'm helping out Olivia. Also we had Olivia tested for ADHD and we got confirmation two weeks ago that she does have it. We have decided not to medicate her but to enroll her into activities that will help with her social skills and we will then wait to see how next years school pans out. It's been hard but we are also changing the way that she eats too. I'm going to not allow her to have any kind of fruit juice that has any color additives and extra sugar. So life for me has been super busy but I can get through it. I love my daughter and I love the summer. I'm just going to continue to plug away!

So many people don't understand what I have. What kind of disorder I have. So many people thinks it's a deadly disease that they can catch or it's something that they know nothing about. So many people can't accept that I'm just a little different so I wanted to give you some information about my medical condition called Common Variable Immunodeficiency or known as CVID. I was diagnosed with it when I was 10 years old by some great doctors at Johns Hopkins Hospital and it was a relief to know that I didn't have anything that would kill me. But I knew that it would change me forever. There is treatment out there for it but after doing it for almost 4 years I became highly allergic to the medicine they were giving me. The only other option that I know of is to have a stem cell treatment. It's something that I'd honestly be willing to try out. Just to make me more healthy. So I did a search on Nintendo Wii and was reading and article on there that stated a schoolboy in the UK hung himself with his school tie and died all because he couldn't play his new Wii game he bought with his money. Supposedly he got the idea from a TV show on BBC a few weeks before his death. His parents allowed him to watch the show knowing that this might be shown. I'm sorry for the boys death but he basically killed himself over not being able to play his Wii. That makes me really think about it and think do I still want a Wii? Well of course I do but I'm not going to let my daughter have these tantrums if she can't play something. Like last night when she threw a tantrum over the fact that I couldn't figure out this one game she was playing online on PBS Kids and I made her instead play something on disney.com. She was furious and threw the tantrum for at least 20 minutes. I then in return told her that if she wasn't going to stop the tantrum that she would be going to bed. The results were....she had to go to bed early. Plain and simple. I wasn't going to put up with her crying any longer. Ok that's it. I'm done.

Ok I have a dis against Bojangles. Today I went there for lunch and ordered a kids chicken supreme meal and asked for water. I knew what the total amount of the kids meal was with sweet tea was and sure enough they were charging me for the tea even though I got water. I asked them since I didn't order the tea if I would get the drink price taken off. They said no and that I was to still have to pay for the tea. That's completely unfair. So I figured that I would go ahead and order the tea but instead of me drinking it I gave it to my dad and came home and drank more water. I've only had one soda today and that is a coke zero which has no calories, no fat and no sugar in it. It's also a zero pointer with weight watchers so where can you go wrong there?

Recently I found out that someone close to me had the lapband surgery done and has lost a lot of weight. The healthy way and the fact that they didn't have any complications from the surgery either. I have honestly thought about getting this done and just never knew that there is a Dr. who does the surgery the best and that is Dr. Richard Collier in Texas. He's a Lab-Band Surgery Specialist who provides comprehensive weight loss surgery program as an alternate to the more complicated Gastric Bypass Surgery. His lapband woodlands office is located in Houston, Texas and I'd certainly would go to him if I ever get this procedure done but honestly that would be my last resort. Well back to the person who had this done, they look amazing now and has been able to keep the weight off so if you too are looking to do the gastric bypass surgery, think twice and choose to have the lap-band done. It's much safer and cost a fraction of the cost for the bypass.

I swear. My allergies this year are horrible. They started up last month and they continue to get worse. My car is covered in Pollen and I feel like everything else is. I guess living with mom and dad it can get kind of crazy. The cat, the dog, the trees, the flowers everything has pollen either on it on coming from it. So I will be starting to take some Zyrtec just to help with the sneezes and all that fun stuff! But I gotta love them.

Happy Spring Everyone! It's nice being able to say that it's finally spring and today is definitely a day for it. The sun is out and the sky is clear and the birds are chirping and the grass is green...

I love spring! Can't you tell? Well the only thing I don't like about spring is the allergies. Whenever the trees out front begin to bloom they have these white flowers on them and then the leaves will come in but let me tell you, the flowers make me sneeze. So far I have noticed that the pollen is every where and it's hard to go somewhere to where you don't see it. Yeah maybe in the mountains where theres snow but we can say that we haven't really seen a snow fall here in Eastern NC for a good while. So who knows it might stay warm out now but I know that on MOnday it will be back in the 40's. Gosh I wish the weather would make up it's mind about what it wants to do.

Man. I'm listening to my Winamp and listening to Footloose right now. Wow! That song makes me want to get up and dance. I miss dancing but luckily I have decided to order Rockin' Body last Thursday and I can't wait until I get it. It's going to be so much fun. Plus it's something that I love to do...Dance! So thankfully I had the extra money to get it. I didn't get something that I knew I wouldn't use but this I will use. I am still doing my Turbo Jam and have seen a big difference from what I looked like 3 months ago. It's amazing. If you put your mind to something then you will succeed and if not then at least you tried and didn't bum out on it. Anyways, I'm at work so I better get back to it. I've gotta run to the bank and make a deposit and I've gotta order some new checks but I don't know if I'm going to do it there because the last time I went the lady there was a well "butthead." and that's being nice about it. Last night as Tonya and I were in Target we were passed by a couple of weird teenagers (or we say teens because they looked so young) and one of them was dressed like a boy. Well it was basically free entertainment because the one dressed like and who looked like a boy was from the UK obviously but the others were trying to talk like they were from there. They were quite annoying and playing games in Target but it was very comical because it was like we were listening to Charlie and Lola (only they have much better accents for sure on that show). Wow! I've finally figured out how to make my own blog template. It took me all day long to do it but it's been done. I'm pleased with the outcome and am glad that I got to do this. Now I might make one for my best friend's blog but it all depends on the time and effort I'll put into it. I'm still learning so it's going to be adjusted but hey...I'm happy about this and who knows maybe one day I'll be good enough to design them for a 2nd job. :) So I hope you all will be patient enough to sit through the adjustments that I'll end up making before it's all said and done with. I can't believe that the 3rd month is here already. It seems like it should only still be January but with the weather I can't say I want it to be Winter anymore. I'm having a much better weekend! I feel so much stronger than I have in the past 3 weeks since Terry telling me he wanted a seperation. I feel like I'm living on my own and getting to know that I'm going to make it through this. I had some good feelings when Terry told me that I looked very nice yesterday but it didn't change anything. When I went shopping with Tonya on Saturday we went to the mall and I picked out several outfits that I'd like to get when I have some money and some nice looking heels. They were gorgeous and I want them so bad. I was also told of a store in Greenville called "the warehouse" that I can get some really nice clothing and shoes from there for me for a cheap price and for Olivia as well. I'm so excited to hear about that. i can't wait until I can get something from there.

I'm so Stressed!

I am so stressed out right now. ugh. I just want to crawl into a dark hole and never come out. I feel so alone and just want to cry. With school and work and now having to deal with this seperation I feel like my life has gotten way out of control. I feel so bad for getting upset with Olivia over the littlest things. I shouldn't. She is only 3 and yes there are times that she does do things on purpose but she's only a child. Oh how I wish I could be 3 or 4 again and have no worries, responsibilities and cares in the world. Well I'm not and I'm a wife and a mom. I have responsibilities and I have worries to deal with. I was going to go down to Social Services today but it looks like I won't get to do so today. I guess I'll have to go tomorrow. Life is so busy and I just want one day not to have to worry about anything. I want a day off too but I won't see that for a while now that I have Livy 24/7...well besides when she's at daycare. So it looks like I won't see a true vacation day or day off for a good long time now that i'm living with mom and dad. Ok I better go.Have to make some phone calls and then maybe head to the bank to deposit some money in there.

Terry and I are at least on speaking terms and we get along fine in public. I have been thinking and taking in consideration on his feelings and wondering what is going on in his head. I need to be more considerate that he puts his life in danger each and every day and I need to tell him thank you and have a good day or night at work. It's something I had started saying to him when we first got married and then for some reason I stopped. Not fair to him at all. Well it's hard adjusting to my parents house and getting olivia into a routine that she is acustom to. It's only right I think. Well on Saturday his parents took her for the day and night and I really appreciated them doing that for us. We too need some time alone and I think that is why our marriage has gotten to this point. Plus I'm always questioning my husband and he doesn't do that with me. I have several things that I need to work on while I'm home with my parents and hoping that things will work out between the two of us to make us a family again! I want that for my birthday and am hoping that I will be able to do so. and if not to at least be back together before the end of the year! I'm also working on my weight and my body and I want to be in a size 10 for him and for me! I don't want to be known as the fat mama and wife I want to be known as the "Hot Mama" and it will happen. I want to wear dresses and that is definitely a suprise to everyone because I have always hated dresses but I am getting more into them now that I can fit into a smaller size. just two more sizes and I will be in a 14 and then have a much better selection in clothing to wear. Plus I can raid my sisters closet of all of her old clothes. Well gotta run...I am studying and working. whew! What a challenge that is.

We are getting a Seperation!

Can it be true? Yes it can. This past weekend I have been so miserable not knowing if my husband still loves me but knowing that we fight all the time. Well on Monday night we talked and it's possible that my husband isn't in love with me anymore. He told me that and when i brought up Marriage counseling he said it's too late to do anything. So that makes me think if he's into a another woman and not into me anymore. I did do some snooping around yesterday in his email and I saw nothing out of the ordinary and then started snooping around his myspace page too. I mean what do I do? This is the man I gave my heart to almost 5 years ago and now it's over just like that. we are trying to come up with a seperation agreement and also a custody agreement on Olivia. I don't want to lose her and he knows that she is my everything. That's the reason I get up in the mornings is because of that little girl. But what am I to say? nothing really. I am going to go apply for medical benefits hopefully soon and will also be seeing if I can get help with my house and also with food stamps. I don't see why i can't since I will not have his income anymore. I'll be moving in with mom and dad for a while too. Ugh! I hate that this has happened but I'm so frustrated with the whole situation that I've been having headaches from hell. I just want this to be over with. I asked him when he started feeling this way about me and he said it was a year ago. Well hell then why didn't he tell me this a year ago and we could have been much happier. I hate him but yet I still love him. I'm so confused it's not even funny!

I feel so let down.

I have been thinking lately very hard about my marriage. I mean how can I still love this man who I can not trust. Well I do but still it's very heartbreaking to me. My marraige is not the greatest and I feel like I am just staying for Olivia so she won't be hurt. But if I do get seperated from Terry, I won't have the money to live anywhere and so I'll be living with Mom and Dad again. It's just not fair at all. I sit here and I'm crying because I'm just so confused. Did I do anything wrong to make this marraige not work? What did I do wrong? or was it because my husband would rather go out and "party" with his friends and cousin and yet he doesn't get the drift that I too need a break from our daughter Olivia. Come to think of it I think he literally has only watched her maybe a couple of times for me. Other than that other people or myself has watched her which is why she is always coming to me. He's never around and yes I understand he works alot for us but it's not fair. I just feel like I'm the failure this time and maybe our marriage is over? I don't know? I might need a few days to think about it. I know that I'm not heading to his parents this weekend by myself because I need a definite break from them. Anyways, I had to get that off my chest so I'm sorry if I have hurt anyone but it's how I feel.

So I haven't updated this one in a while but life is just plain busy for me. I have made the decision to get healthy for myself for 2008 and am off to a good start. Then i have decided to get fit too and so once again I'm off to a good start. Now trying to get organized is another scoop all together. I'm going to be trying to do so but until then it's not happening. well just wanted to get this one updated and that's about it.

I'm so hungry. I didn't get to really finish my dinner last night because I had other things to do and so I haven't eaten today either. It's been a pretty busy day so far and I'm glad it has. Tonight my parents are watching Olivia because Tonya and the whole family has been sick with some Tummy virus so we're just keeping Olivia away from the group. I do hope that they all feel better soon. I know that Tonya called me to tell me that she was OK in taking Olivia tonight but I told her just one more day to make sure we don't have a puking 3 year old. Anyways, I think my sister is coming up from Greenville to take Olivia out to dinner and all. We'll see how that goes I guess. If so Thank you Elizabeth. :)

Need to Find a Christmas Present

I need to find a Christmas present for my husband. We know that money is very tight right now and so finding a present for the rest of the family is a little difficult. I wish that more online stores would take paypal because if they did then I could get him what I really want to get him. I've gotten one part of the gift but I want to find the other part soon. I have to already switch over some money from my paypal account to pay for part of the mortgage payment. So that is some of the money gone out of there but it's all worth it. I have more money that is coming my way so hopefully by Christmas I'll have enough to purchase some clothes for Olivia. :)

School

Last night I had a test in class and felt that I took my time on it. I needed to because it was nothing but coding and some people were finished up early and I took my time until he said time was up which was an hour and a half later. I wanted to make sure that I had all codes filled out and that I got in the ones that I didn't know much about. But it seems like I did ok and I'm now going to be sitting on pins and needles of not knowing what I made. Yes I know I took it last night but still I'm impatient when it comes to that. :) Well I better go..have to get some work done now.

The Dreaded Appointment...

Well this afternoon I went to the dreaded yearly checkup at my normal doctor because I am having some major monthly cycle issues. Well he said that my extreme heavy bleeding is not normal and that he is glad I came in to see him. I told him all of my symptoms and he said that he wants to do another test to see if I could have fibriods, adhesions, polyps or cancer which he doesn't think I have but just to be on the safe it doesn't hurt to look at. I have to schedule a hysteroscopy but I can't schedule it until I know i have the money. I have to pay $307 up front because i don't have insurance. This royally sucks if you ask me. The whole procedure will cost around $615 and then it's up to the doctor on what the next step will to take to get the heavy bleeding under control. I hate going to the doctor but to tell you the truth I'd rather get this under control first. My doctor is very nice but he's a little weird too. Oh well I think that is enough information on my health that you all probably want to know about. Enjoy the rest of the night:)

Ok so I have created another blog...ahhhhh! Run for your life! Well I thought I would be able to keep up with my other one on wordpress.org but it for some reason decided not to let me sign in anymore so I have to create a new one. I am hoping to use this one as a blog to keep up with me and my life and also to be able to use this one to get paid on sooner or later. It's all worth it though!
